In Kuala Lumpur and other places we stayed, I wrote that I often preferred working from my phone while Edward handled more of the laptop-based technology. I could answer messages, review a piece of work and stay connected without sitting at a desk all day.
Why I remember this
The freedom was not in the device itself. It came from deciding what truly needed me and which tasks could happen in a different way. I learned to value concise communication, clearer systems and the ability to be present when I closed the screen.
