What Six Yoga Classes a Day Taught Me

A moment from the life and lessons that eventually shaped Koa.

Story KOA-STORY-005 · An editorial adaptation of earlier founder writing

At one point my days included as many as six yoga classes, alongside workshops and private sessions. I loved seeing people connect and hearing what they were discovering. There was a particular beauty in a room full of people practicing together.

What this chapter taught me

I also learned the limits of a model where every meaningful experience required me to be physically present. I used to think being needed all day was proof of purpose. Today I believe worthwhile service needs to leave space for the person doing it, not only the people receiving it.
