When people asked how we traveled so much with children, I told them one of my biggest lessons was to stop trying to visit every attraction. We picked a few places we cared about, got to know the neighborhood and stayed close enough to develop routines.
Why I remember this
I found that slowing down meant we could enjoy food, parks, local shops and unexpected moments without running on a tourist schedule. This approach is not reserved for people who travel full time. You can choose a more present pace in the place you already live.
Where does your family or everyday life fit?
What would happen if you planned your next week as someone who wants to truly live there rather than rush through it?
You do not need to travel or live like us to put the principle into practice.
